V-K9 Handler Julie Jones, and K9 partner Quincy, provide information and Scent work demonstrations at the annual "Winter Fest" activities, in Brewer, Maine this month.  K9 Quincy provided demonstrations in the discipline of article recovery.  Handler Julie Jones offered short talks on the "hug a tree" program, distributed flyers to children, coloring books, and gave talks regarding "what do you do if you get lost in the woods".  The Fest was a tremendous success!

K9 Brownie, and his Handler Sandy Sperry, from Hertford North Carolina recently presented a Dog Safety Information program to second, third and fourth grade Perquimans Middle School students . Students were advised on taking proper "dog safety measures" when out playing.  Demonstrations were provided. The students were given coloring books, informational flyers and participated in questions and answers .  K9 Brownie demonstrated human remains detection recovery.  And, K9 Brownie, who is also a certified Therapy Dog, did what he does best - loving it up with the children!
